The general store and campground has something to offer for everyone. The campground features 10 campsites with electricity and approximately 10 primitive sites. We are located right along the majestic South Bear Creek. Families can enjoy fishing right on the campground, along with a playground area. Campers have full access to the bathrooms and showers located under the store. You can also enjoy free coffee and cappuccino during store hours.

4th of July Celebration
The Highland General Campground is the home of the Annual 4th of July Celebration. It's a chance for friends, family, neighbors, and visitors to come together and enjoy great food, conversation, and some of Northeast Iowa's best fireworks! We light up Highlandville every year the weekend after the 4th. This is definitely a party worth checking out!
